Excellent murder mystery!

Couple of days ago, I was killing time in Anttila and I was looking some dvds. This caught my eyes. I remember seeing a trailer of this film many years ago but it wasn't anything special. Anyway, this film is surprisingly good. Maybe because, I had no expectations. I found myself laughing many times during the film.

The cast is great. Actors like Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr. do always good job. They fit into the roles perfectly. Michelle Monaghan is great as well. She had a bit different role in this movie than she have had in other movies I've seen. The thing, though, that amazed me the most was the way they told the story. I think it fit perfectly into this film.

The story is about Harry Lockhart (Robert Downey Jr.), minor offender, who ends up in Hollywood trying to get a role as a detective. A private detective, Perry (Val Kilmer) trains him into this role. Things are starting to happen when Harry follows Perry. As time goes, they realize they are in the middle of this murder mystery. Harry and Perry has great conversations and humor is good. It's almost like in Bad Boys.

This was a movie that I liked. It has lots of swearing like in all the films nowadays. It also has some nudity. We could have survived without it. But anyway, definitely this movie is worth watching.
