Another brilliantly written and directed film by the Coen Brother. Perfect in every sense.

This is an odd little movie from the Coen brothers, but I suppose that goes without saying. It follows the life of one Jewish man as he faces various trials and tribulations.

I found the way the movie depicts absurd situations extremely funny. Serious man was about fear of acting and immediate punishment upon acting. I found the movie very thoughtful and laughed for a couple of days after seeing it.

A polarizing film to say the least. Loved every second of it. Not being Jewish, I'm sure I missed out on a lot of stuff but as a film (and especially as modern parable) it's another gem from Los Hermanos de Coen. Really liked the underlying theme of doom and the ending stayed with me for days.

a highly irritating movie!!

Some amusement, but weird and way too artful for my tastes. It felt like it was trying to be clever.

After seeing this, the world seems a bit more funnier, and makes a bit less sense.

Take or leave it. I liked this even it was way random and the story quite slow. Really funny but definitely not for anyone just like other Coen brothers movies.

Some movies convey an intense atmosphere. This is one of them.
